I enjoy life's simple pleasures - one day at a time.

I have lived in four countries and visited several more. I love learning new languages and adapting to new cultures. I welcome the challenges of relocating to a new place because I get to meet new people, sample foreign cuisines (must be halaal though), and practice the traditions of the people I'm with.

I used to think that teaching kids is probably the most boring thing to do in this world, but it took me a couple of jobs and several years later to realize that teaching is a very noble and fulfilling profession. Alhamdulillah I've found what I am passionate about, but there's so much more to learn.
